چکیده
• Overexpression of MpbHLH in Foc TR4-sensitive Cavendish banana showed that the transgenic lines had superior resistance to Fusarium wilt compared with wild-type (WT). Proteomic analysis phenylalanine ammonia lyase (PAL) and peroxidase (POD) were highly expressed plants. 3. Physiological experiments further revealed plants, especially their roots, high POD activity. Banana ( Musa spp . ) is an important tropical fruit economic value, however, disease a critical factor affecting sound development industry. Different cultivars exhibit degree genetic variability for wilt. Compared spp. AAA group), Dajiao ABB group) has provides excellent test material isolation characterization genes. In this study, candidate gene, (basic helix-loop-helix), encoding ICE1-like protein transcription (TF), was cloned characterized. Real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) results transcript levels strongly induced under cold treatment, salt, dehydration. Taken together, overexpression may extensively activate stress-related particular, activity increases by enhancing reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging system plant.

Fermentation of Foc TR4-infected bananas and Trichoderma spp.
Fusarium wilt (also known as Panama disease) is one of the most destructive banana diseases, and greatly hampers the global production of bananas. Consequently, it has been very detrimental to the Chinese banana industry. An infected plant is one of the major causes of the spread of Fusarium wilt to nearby regions. It is essential to develop an efficient and environmentally sustainable disease ...

Physical properties of fruits and vegetables are the subject of many researches because of its importance in designing of agricultural machinery. Banana fruit is one of important fruit. In this study some physical properties of banana fruit (Cavendish variety) were determined. Properties which were measured included weight of whole fruit peel and pulp weight, dimensions, surface area and projec...
متن کاملOverexpression of the transcription factor Yap1 modifies intracellular redox conditions and enhances recombinant protein secretion
Oxidative folding of secretory proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is a redox active process, which also impacts the redox conditions in the cytosol. As the transcription factor Yap1 is involved in the transcriptional response to oxidative stress, we investigate its role upon the production of secretory proteins, using the yeast Pichia pastoris as model, and report a novel important role...

Canola (Brassica napus L.) is an important oilseed crop. A serious problem in cultivation of this crop andyield loss, are due to fungal disease stem rot caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. The pathogenesis-related(PR) proteins have the potential for enhancing resistance against fungal pathogen. Thaumatin-like proteins(TLPs) have been shown to have antifungal activity on variou...
متن کاملOverexpression of the tobacco Tsi1 gene encoding an EREBP/AP2-type transcription factor enhances resistance against pathogen attack and osmotic stress in tobacco.
Using mRNA differential display analysis, we isolated a salt-induced transcript that showed a significant sequence homology with an EREBP/AP2 DNA binding motif from oilseed rape plants. With this cDNA fragment as a probe, cDNA clone Tsi1 (for Tobacco stress-induced gene1) was isolated from a tobacco cDNA library. RNA gel blot analysis indicated that transcripts homologous with Tsi1 were induced...
